hi sir/ma’am,
I am in class 12 and trying my best for pmt preparation. my biggest concern is that my speed in solving physics numericals is very less. i take 2 minutes per question when i should take just one… i practice quite a lot but its not improving my speed.. should i time my practice as well?

don’t worry. Physics usually need Time. And try to solve bio as fast as you can. Further in chem- inorganic and organic should be done with a good speed. this way you can get plenty of time for physics and physical chemistry…!!!

hi!i am currenty studying in class 11 nd have taken integration wid aakash institute wherein i do not need to attend college at all(just once in a week for practicals)also,,i am in the weeked batch of aakash hence…u c… i am onli busy on sat n sundays…rest 5 days i am completely at home….bt my biggest problem is that i am not utilising my time properly…i have tried several times bt i cant sit studying for more than 45 mins!my friends find it difficult as they have to attend school nd aakash.. nd i have the whole day bt i am not taking its advantage…time just flies ..also,,, i have taken state board aftr doing icse so dat it is easy for me collgwise nd i can concentrate on neet..bt i am performing horribly both ways–at college as well as aakash.i dont know wat to do! …its december almost nd i feel i havent done anything much…please help..:)

Why Do you Guys Prefer This Fake school Thing,It never helped anyone.’SCHOOL’ is an integral part of ones personal and academic development.Its a place where you’ll learn Much beyond Books.Try and Join a school In 12th(If its permissible),Even If you cant attend your school all 5 Days,Its still okay.Most of the schools dont have many issues with attendance.
Thats what happens when You Get time,But You dont know how to Manage it.Theres never a Shortcut to success(remember That).You Have to Learn to Pressurise yourself,Try To Learn the art of performing Under emergencies.(And Thats what a school teaches you).
Join a tuition to keep yourself engaged,Tell them to give you more homework.
Plot a time-Table for yourself,And adhere to It.
The more occupied You are,The more better you concentrate.(that used to work out with me)
Meet up more people of your age,Talk to them and Keep a track on their Progress.Try and go Ahead of them,Thats what schools are for.They Give you a set of students to compete with.Healthy competition Always improves performance,As Limited pressure is always beneficial.
Still Better:Set Weekly Targets for yourself,Tell one of your parents to Check up your improvement.Accomplish These targets and Reward yourself.
And Get more MCQ books,The more you Practice,The more you Learn.Solve your coaching packages(Atleast Twice). Read Up theories,Make pretty notes,Tables and presentations.Get used to the “Medical Aspirant Life”. Be Totally Obsessive.
So the key here Is,Dont sit and study the conventional way,But be more Innovative.STUDY in a way,That you dont get Bored or Tired.
Try Creating summaries of all the Chapters,You’ll start enjoying this soon.
Be engaged in some physical activity as well,That’ll Help you remain active and Happy.Dont let yourself be frustrated in any case,Socialise More.
Plan Up More Group Studies for That matter.
Expect more out of yourself,thats the key.Be Really attentive during your coaching Lectures(Dare you miss a single one).
Distract Yourself a Bit(Towards the Good Things,A hobby or a physical activity) Sitting with Books all Day,Irritates your Mind.
Sincere studies arent measured in Numbers.

YEAH,But Thats not a reason to worry.All the reference books somehow cover up the Older NCERTs.
These books are Enough,Just be more clear with the NCERT.U may get Biology@fingertips if you want.
Revise the syllabus as many times as you can,Thres no upper limit.The more you revise,The better it is.

Modules wont be suffice,Get Biology@Fingertips as a supplement if you want.
AIIMS will continue to have a seperate entrance,It wont come under NEET.

Instead of : Kids Play Cricket on Finely Trimmed Grassy Surface
I will suggest: Keep Potty/Donkey Clean Or Family Get Sick
Potty=Phylum (Animals)
Donkey=Division (Plants)
The more crazier Mnemonics are, the better and easier it is for us to remember them.

i am left with only 2 months for aipmt prelim. but i have forgot many things that i have learnt earlier i hardly remember them. In physics and chemistry i will hopefully manage but i am scared about biology. My friends are studying bio from trueman though i have mentioned about ur books, but trueman is too vast and i have no time now to study it. I am studying aakash institute synopsis, ncert and later i will study ur both books till i buy them as i am waiting for 2nd book so that i can buy them together online. Plz… give me some hope nd advice that i will clear my entrance.

Aakash synopsis is not good for Bio. Read it only of u have read it before.For bio, refer to both my books n NCERT..nothing more..in Physics n chem, u can read Akash..but it’s better to revise from the reference book or from the notes whatever u had studied..just see the formulas and read the text u had underlined before and also see the numericals..many students make the mistake of just revising the formula without practicing the numericals..so at least have a look at the numericals side by side..also keep solving past papers
